# About this site

Canonical: https://instagram-follower-tracker.com/about/

Instagram-follower-tracker.com compares the apps and websites that track Instagram followers, following lists, unfollows and stories. There are dozens of them, they change names and prices often, and many of them ask for your Instagram password. We try to make the choice easier and safer.

## What we cover

Two kinds of tools:
- **Trackers for other public accounts.** They watch a public profile you don’t own and record who it follows and unfollows, usually without your login.
- **Apps for your own account.** You sign in, and they show who unfollowed you, who doesn’t follow back and who engages with your posts.

We also write guides on what Instagram does and doesn’t show, so you can tell a real feature from a sales pitch.

## How reviews are made

Every review is built from the tool’s own website, store listings, privacy labels, privacy policy and recent user reviews, and scored on [five published criteria](https://instagram-follower-tracker.com/methodology/). The facts-checked date on each review is the last time we went through those sources.

## Not affiliated with Instagram

This site isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. We use tool and brand names only to identify the products we review.
