It needs you to sign in to Instagram inside the app, most features cost extra, and logouts, verification prompts and slow refreshes are recurring complaints in recent reviews.

## What Reports+ does

Reports+ is an iPhone and iPad app from Deep Vision Labs that analyses your own Instagram account. It has been on the App Store since 2020. The listing promises “50+ metrics”: story and profile interactions plus follower lists such as new followers, people who don’t follow you back, mutual followers, ghost followers and “Secret Admirers”, who engage with your posts without following you. The German listing also names lost followers.

Extras include up to 4 accounts, reposting, a hashtag extractor and an “integrated profile viewer” for any profile. The listing says the profile interactions feature “doesn’t reveal specific profile viewers”, and it says nothing about tracking another person’s follows, alerts or blocks. We found no Android or web version.

## Do you have to log in?

Yes. According to the privacy policy, Reports+ opens Instagram’s own web login inside the app, so your username and password are typed on Instagram’s website, and the app says it never collects or logs them. The policy adds that the account data Reports+ reads is stored only on your device. It doesn’t explain how that data is fetched from Instagram.

That protects your password, but it doesn’t settle the safety question. In the recent and most helpful US App Store reviews we read, the most common complaint, from 2022 through September 2026, is being logged out of Instagram, asked to verify again, or warned about suspicious activity after connecting. Some reviewers say their account was temporarily locked or disabled. These are individual reports we couldn’t verify, but they come up often enough to pull down the safety score.

## Price

Reports+ is a free download with ads, and most features sit behind “Premium Unlimited”, which also removes the ads. On the US App Store the in-app purchases run from $3.99 to $29.99 across seven items, with names like “Instagram Followers Tracker” that don’t say how long each one lasts. The German store lists €3.99 to €29.99.

The terms say paid plans are billed weekly, monthly or yearly, renew automatically unless you cancel 24 hours before the period ends, and are generally non-refundable. One reviewer mentions paying $4 for a weekly subscription, and a third-party price tracker recorded options up to $39.99 in March 2026. Check the subscription length on the purchase screen before you confirm.

## Ratings and what users say

Reports+ has about 4.6 stars from roughly 494,000 ratings on the US App Store and 4.4 stars from about 43,000 ratings in Germany. That’s a strong average, though many of the 5-star reviews are only a few words long.

In around 100 recent and most helpful US reviews, the positive ones say it’s handy for finding who doesn’t follow back. Besides the login trouble, the negative ones mention refreshes that drag on (one September 2026 reviewer says more than ten minutes), “try again later” errors and paying users whose data didn’t load. Some reviewers doubt the story-view and profile-interaction numbers, and one says the app didn’t show when someone unfollowed. The developer’s own terms say its analytics may contain mistakes.

## Privacy

The App Store privacy labels, which the developer fills in and Apple doesn’t verify, say Reports+ uses identifiers and usage data to track you, and collects purchases, search history and diagnostics for advertising, analytics and app functionality. The privacy policy, updated in September 2025, names Google Ads, Firebase, Adapty and Mixpanel as third-party SDKs and gives only an email address for contact.

## Look-alike apps and who should use it

Several App Store apps from other developers use nearly the same name, such as “Reports+ Followers Unfollowers” by Reports+ LLC. This review covers the Deep Vision Labs app, listed in the US as “Reports+ Unfollowers Follower”.

Reports+ makes sense if you have an iPhone, want to tidy up your own following list and accept the login risk.
